KYLE COOPER is a writer, director and producer for film and theatre. As a writer, he has worked with prolific film directors such as Simon Wells, Dennis Dugan, and Donald Petrie and has written on projects for Sharon Stone, Bella Thorne, Uma Thurman and Ralph Fiennes. Development credits with Eclectic Pictures include London Has Fallen, Septembers of Shiraz, and Frankenstein. Most recently, he wrote for Kevin Pollak’s directorial debut, The Late Bloomer, starring J.K. Simmons and Brittany Snow. As a director for theatre, his credits include Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, Waiting for Godot, Blasted, Shitty Awful Everything, Bernarda Alba, Red Scare on Sunset, and his own high-octane adaptations of Hamlet and ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore. Other credits as assistant director include Boy From Oz (Ovation Award for Best Musical), The Boy in the Bathroom (World Premiere) and Anais, A Dance Opera (LA Rock Opera Company). He will be receiving his MFA in directing from California State University, Fullerton next year.
